New Spanish budget airline selects amelia, the InteliSys passenger service system, to provide a flexible technology foundation, transparent costs, and expanded distribution capabilities ahead of its December 2026 launch
InteliSys Aviation is pleased to announce that Fly2Galicia, a new regional budget airline based in Spain, has selected amelia, the passenger service system (PSS) from InteliSys Aviation, to power its passenger operations. The partnership will support Fly2Galicia as it prepares to launch operations, with its first flights planned for December 2026.
Following an evaluation of available technology solutions, Fly2Galicia selected amelia based on the platform's flexibility and capabilities, its transparent pricing model, and confidence in InteliSys as a long-term technology partner.
Through amelia, Fly2Galicia will benefit from a transparent total cost of ownership (TTCO) and strong OTA and metasearch (MSE) distribution capabilities, as well as direct web distribution. These capabilities will give the new airline greater visibility into its technology costs while providing the flexibility to reach travellers through multiple sales channels from the outset.

As Fly2Galicia prepares for its first flight in December 2026, amelia is providing a strong foundation for its passenger operations and commercial strategy, helping the airline establish its distribution footprint, reach new customers, and maintain greater control over its costs.
