Junior Finance & Accounting Analyst
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline to join our team as a Junior Finance & Accounting Analyst. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to develop practical financial and accounting skills while contributing to a dynamic and growing organization.
You will work closely with the finance team to support financial reporting, budgeting, data analysis, and general accounting activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and analysis
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes
- Reconcile accounts and review financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support internal process improvements and financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams when required
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Recent graduate or up to 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Interest in pursuing CPA, CFA, or other professional designation is an asset
